She pressed the camera back into his hands but stepped backward, that same daring grin now a full-fledged smile. “Then take one more,” she said softly. “But this time, make it count.”
Julian hesitated for only a fraction of a second. He lifted the camera, heart still racing, and watched as she resumed her pose – relaxed fingers at her sides, lips parted slightly, eyes filled with unsaid words.
