Julian hesitated for only a fraction of a second. He lifted the camera, heart still racing, and watched as she resumed her pose – relaxed fingers at her sides, lips parted slightly, eyes filled with unsaid words. The simplicity of the surroundings – the pale walls, a touch of greenery near the windows – made her all the more striking.
